I've been true to my nude eye shadow palettes from the day I started using makeup. That means 10 years of nude shades only. I can't believe I was that afraid of experimenting with color! Whenever I did try something new, it didn't seem it flattered me as well as The Nude Family.
It was definitely time for a change of color. Avon's True Color Eyeshadow Quad in the shade Precious Shells was the perfect transition. It was released as part of their 2015 summer collection, hence the name and print. The palette consists of 4 shades. The fairest ivory shade is ideal for highlighting under the eyebrows, above the cheekbones and on the nose. The next light shimmery beige shade I use as a base because it's quite sheer. The third shade - my favorite - is a sort of fish scale, peacock, metallic copper-turquoise color. It cannot be described in words, I'm sorry :) It's such a unique shade and gives off the impression of having different shades depending on the angle you look at it. I use it on the outer halves of my lids. The last, darkest shade is a matte teal green ideal for contouring the eye. I put it on the outer corner of my eyes and in the creases and blend it out because it is really pigmented.

I've only recently started using Avon's Eye Shadow Primer. It's a universal primer that holds eye shadow well into the night without creasing. I absolutely recommend it! With this primer, my eye makeup stays on until the next day. Of course, with touch ups required. It comes in a glass pot with black plastic cap. The best thing about it, is that you can't go wrong with the shade because it only comes in a universal shade. The texture is creamy and easy to apply with fingers or with a concealer brush. I personally like to do it with my fingers.
To hydrate my skin, I use Avon's tinted moisturizer Perfecting Tint Release Moisturizer SPF 20. Now it goes under the name Nutra Effects Radiance Tinted Moisturizer. It comes in a tube packaging and when you squeeze it out, it's a white cream with pigmented micro grains. The grains blend nicely into your skin giving you a subtle glowing finish and color to pale or dull skin. I'm not sure it would do the same to darker skin tones. If you're not looking to cover up any imperfections and have normal to dry skin, I truly recommend this cream for daily use.
I personally do not use foundation unless absolutely necessary, meaning - only during breakouts. Of course we all want to have porcelain skin, but most of us just aren't born that way. It's important to have healthy hydrated skin and if there happen to be freckles, pores or a pimple here and there, just accept it. The men will definitely appreciate your face not rubbing off on them.
