I was searching for a new face cream in Avon's catalogue after I'd used up the hydrating cream from their Nutraeffects line. I always like to experiment and test out new products, so I decided to choose something from their Planet Spa line, since I'd never had any facial cream from that line. I knew the Planet Spa line was Avon's best quality, so I gave the whole Planet Spa Luxuriously Refining Collection with black caviar extract a go. Honestly, I was attracted to the gold-black packaging and the word "caviar".
All of the products come in separate paper box packaging, as do most Planet Spa products. I used all of the products simultaneously so I could give you a better review of the collection. My favorite item is definitely the Luxuriously Refining with black caviar extract Facial Moisturiser, just because you can actually see a difference on your skin, after just one use! It really rejuvenates the skin overnight. I can tell by the way it heals any pimple marks, scabs or dry patches, and it neutralises redness! The light, gel-like formula leaves the skin glowing thanks to the reflective particles. Just notice how pearlescent it looks! It dries within 5 minutes and it has a universal fresh scent. No seafood smell, like the name would suggest :) It comes in a plastic jar with a twist off cap, which is good because you can get all of the product out. This moisturiser will undoubtably work for any skin type! It's a must have.
The Luxuriously Reviving Eye Smoother is the product I saw least effect while using. It might be because I don't actually have any problems with my eye area. For me, it's not doing anything bad, so I just use it because I've been told you should nourish the skin around your eyes. Again, it's a gel formula with purple shimmer so it's supposed to brighten the under-eye area and eliminate any dark circles. Maybe someone else can share their experience, because I really didn't see any difference after using it a few months...
The consistency of the Luxurious Refining Peel Off Face Mask is thick, sticky and gel-like with gold particles. You have to put it on quick, because it almost instantly dries on the skin. I leave it on for 20 minutes to get the most out of the product. It's a peel of mask, but it doesn't peel off in one piece. It takes a couples of tries to get it off entirely. Because I usually put it on in the evenings, I would wake up the next day with some excess product on my face. While taking off the mask, you get the feeling that your literally removing all the dead skin and dirt with each tug. Once removed, the skin is softer to the touch and left with a subtle glow. Remember, this mask has revitalizing not hydrating effects.
