The reason why I usually bake vegan snacks is not because I am a vegan myself, but rather because I find vegan recipes to be fail proof. The recipes are usually much simpler with a short list of plant-based ingredients that don't require thermal processing. When a recipe contains milk, flour, eggs, I always seem to do something wrong and whatever I attempted to make, ends up looking flat and raw inside. If you are like me, know that this recipe was tested by a person with not a lot of patience or skills in the baking department. Plus, if I'm going to make something myself, then it I'd prefer it to be healthier than the store-bought version.

I made mine with walnuts and raisins, but feel free to substitute for any kind of nuts and dried fruit you would like. You can make them a day before for breakfast or store them in a plastic or tin box to have on hand throughout the day. They go perfectly with tea, milk or coffee.

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350F. Peel the bananas and break them into chunks. Mash them up with a fork until they form a paste.2. Next, add 1 cup of the Rolled Oats to a blender and process for 30 seconds, or until a fine flour forms. Add the Oat Flour, remaining Oatmeal, Applesauce, optional Maple Syrup, Cinnamon, Baking Powder, and Salt to the bowl with the Banana. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
- Fold the chopped Walnuts into the batter, then line or grease a Baking Tray. Use around 3 tbsp of batter to form a “Cookie”, then press each Cookie onto the Tray – they will not spread out in the oven, so shape them how you’d like them to be!
- Bake for 15 minutes, flip, then bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Once cool, store in a loosely covered container at room temperature for up to 5 days. You can also freeze these and reheat as needed!

- Zagrejte rernu na 190°C . Oljuštite banane i izgnječite viljuškom.
